« Je me dirigeai du côté des Champs-Élysées. J’aimais, sans même les connaître, tous les gens que je rencontrais. Comme l’amour rend bon ! »
La dame aux camélias, Alexandre Dumas Fils
MONSIEUR GEORGE HÔTEL & SPA 17, RUE WASHINGTON 75008 PARIS
A classic Hausmannian building reincarnated into a 5-star hotel
One of the pioneers of boutique hotel design, Anouska Hempel, has brought her magic to Monsieur George, transforming a typical Parisian building into a luxurious den of hospitality. A spa shares the basement with the exclusive wine cellar. There are rooms with balconies and rooms hidden by gardens (one of which supplies herbs to the kitchen and bar). There’s a suite under the eaves and a suspended patio. The views of the Eiffel Tower are unrivaled. The bar is mirrored and the restaurant looks like something out of A Thousand and One Nights.
46 rooms, 5 stars. Welcome chez Monsieur George, a hotel like no other.

The Rooms
The classic Hausmannian architecture gives the rooms Parisian glamour; each floor has its own ambience and decor with adjoining rooms available for families. Perched above them all, practically in the clouds, are suites with views capturing all of Paris with merely a glance. Closer to earth is the garden suite, a lush duplex sanctuary.
On the top floor, Monsieur George has created spacious, luxurious rooms that are inviting to friends and travellers alike.
THE GALANGA RESTAURANT & BAR
The emerald-tile covered floor in the Galanga restaurant and bar is an constant reminder of Monsieur George’s Mediterranean escapades. The ever-changing menu was created by Chef Thomas Danigo, a globetrotter himself. The bar, with its endless mirrors and inspiring cocktail list, only adds to the magic, making this the place to be for a stellar soirée.
For Monsieur George, gastronomy is an art and his restaurant is the place to revel in it.
THE SPA BY LE TIGRE
Where once there were cellars, today you will find a breath of fresh air. The go-to name in Parisian well-being, Le Tigre, conceived the spa for Monsieur George. Well-loved by locals, Le Spa by Le Tigre offers personalised massages, yoga classes, a gym, sauna and steam room.

The collection of Hotels Monsieur
“We live through our paradoxes and die from our prejudices", explained Monsieur, to justify his diverse tastes. He has only one face but many facets. Rather like the Monsieur Hotels: a single character but several identities, each expressed in a unique establishment. Monsieur Saintonge is based in the Marais district. But Monsieur Helder opted for the Opéra area. For his part, Monsieur Cadet chose the Grands Boulevards. This is why Monsieur loves Paris so much: in a city which changes so much from district to district, nothing obliges you to always remain the same.
